P2 Family: Huggies Launches Clutch 'n' Clean Refillable Wipes

Modeling Huggies Clutch 'n' Clean Refillable Wipes
This week, Huggies launched their new Clutch 'n' Clean Refillable Wipes ($3.99) at grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide. The playful designs not only hold whips, but leave room for other in-the-park essentials like your cell phone and lip gloss. Doesn't everyone carry lip gloss for walks in the park?
Ambiance at Huggies Event,
& posing with my gal Jordan from RamshakleGlam.com
There was a mini breakfast reception, hosted by MomTrends, which allowed some of us media moms the chance to play with the product.  Also, I was able to live out my "modeling" dream, by showcasing one of the styles while wearing a BCBG dress from Destination Maternity,

I love that you can loop the clutch around your arm or attach it to your stroller. Additionally, the material is smooth, yet durable.  I completely understand, now, that everything needs to be durable when it comes to kids!

I keep one clutch in my diaper bag, and recently dressed up so that I semi-matched my Clutch 'n' Clean. It was going to get a lot of use out of the bag, so I thought, why not work it into the wardrobe.
Always Be Your Best You and keeping it stylishly clean

This post is a collaboration with MomTrends. The opinions and copy belong to Pamela Pekerman and reflect her genuine love for the brand/product in question. You can’t buy her love, but she does need to buy a lot of diapers and diamonds.

P2 Family: Munchkin Launches mbaby Apparel Layette Collection, and My Baby is a Model

Ilana Rose showcases mbaby onester and converable pant
Last week, my daughter had her big modeling break; well, sort of. I was asked to attend the launch of Munchkin’s new mbaby apparel layette collection hosted by MomTrensd.com, and dress Ilana in the clothing. After previewing the soft and supple material, as well as the smart, yet simple, design, I was more than pleased to put my munchkin in mbaby.

mbaby onster apparel, by Munchkin
The mbaby onester apparel, which is what Ilana is wearing in long sleeve ($34), has a double-layer front, ideal for babies that spend most of their time on their backs or in strollers. The double layer keeps the chill at bay in a discreet, comfortable design, without overheating her back. Genius, right?

Ilana is also modeling the 100% cotton rib knit (FYI the entire collection is made with cotton because mbaby, like most smart moms, gets that this is the best option for babies) pants with a convertible foot ($30). Ilana can be fully covered or wear cute capri-style cuffed pants. It’s super easy to transition from one look to the next, and it maximizes the wear of the item. Again, genius!

The pieces are easy to mix and match and many are gender neutral. I spent some extra time in the boys assortment, as I have NO idea what I’ll be doing with my little man when he arrives in late June. Any tips on raising a boy? Do share!

PS The chef-style, star hat is not from mbaby. My sister’s daughters both wore it and nobody recalls where it was purchased.

Pam's Picks: Best Dressed 2014 Oscars

I broke the no TV rule, last night and let Ilana stay in the living room while mommy enjoyed +E! Entertainment Red Carpet Special from the 86th Annual Academy Awards. She enjoyed her first Red Carpet viewing, but I think Ilana liked cuddling with daddy even more.
After much debate, here are my top five, best dressed of the night. Do you agree?

Best Dressed Ladies at 2014 Oscars
Kate Hudson in Versace Atelier, 2014 Oscars
The sequence cape or whatever that was, was everything. I love when presenters steal the show!
Portia de Rossi in Naeem Khan, 2014 Oscars
I want to buy this Naeem Khan gown in white, coral, black, radiant orchid... The fit of the halter dress, the ivory color against Portia de Rossi's milky skin, the honeycomb-beading, the ideal train length, the gorgeous back, it was all perfection. The accessories, her +Fendi clutch and +Christian Dior jewelry completed the mesmerizing style moment.
Lupita Nyong'o in Prada, 2014 Oscars
I Last night's princess story belonged to 12 Years A Slave star, and Best Supporting Actress winner, Lupita Nyong'o. Her ethereal, powder-blue +Prada gown was an ideal choice for her skin tone and delicate frame. I loved the flecks of sheen in the pleated skirt. And, of course, nobody can stop talking about her simple, graceful Fred Leighton diamond-and-gold headband. Actually, I guess diamonds aren't simple :).
Sandra Bullock in Alexander McQueen, 2014 Oscars
Although I'm deeply again the promoting Alexander McQeen, for personal reasons, I can't deny that Sandra Bullock looked regal and Oscar-worthy in this satin gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and dramatic draping. The minimal, but effective, use of Lorrain Schwartz jewels pulled it all together.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Reem Acra, 2014 Oscars
A big trend of the night was sequence on sheen, but it ended up washing out many of the leading ladies much like the rain outside the Dolby Theater.  Jenna Dewan-Tatum's Reem Acra gown was the excpetion. The greyish hue worked with her dark hair, and I love how the beading blended into the feather-like mermaid skirt. Can I get married again, in this dress? +Reem Acra, my five year anniversary is coming up in August. Let's talk.

Honorary mention goes to:
Bette Midler in Reem Acra, 2014 Oscars
Nobody does it for me quite like The Divine Ms M. I've loved her since I was a little girl and I'm so happy she brought it, last night, in this fiesty, crimson Reem Acra gown which recenlty graced the runways at Mercedes-Benz Fall 2014 Fashion Week in New York. I love that I want to wear this dress, but I'd also want to see it on my mother.  Trend alert: Ms. M was also rocking the short hair, pulled back in waves style that seems to be ageless when done right.
Christine Teigen in Monique Lhuillier,  2014 Oscars
Christine Teigen looked wonderful in +Monique Lhuillier, but it was her joyful presnce that won me over. Trend alert -- florals of all kinds are huge this spring. Get ready to jump into the garden of fashionable delight.
Olivia Wilde in Valentino, 2014 Oscars
Olivia Wilde had my favorite belly bump style moment, last night. The back of her Valentino dress was so simple, yet a great lasting visual for everyone she passed. I would have placed her on my best dressed list were it not for some technical issues and poor tailoring around the chest. I'm sure nobody noticed this, but I'm on my second pregnancy and I know what it's like when that area isn't properly addressed.

P2 Beauty: Affordable Red Carpet Smile Style & Importance of Daily Glow

3D White Luxe FlexFit Whitestrips give me bright start every day
The +Oscars  are just hours away, which got me thinking about my daily Red Carpet mindset. I like to treat every day like it’s my personal, Red Carpet moment because every day is my opportunity to shine and be a bright star in my world. The same goes for all of you. I really want you to embrace and live with an Always Be Your Best You mindset.

With my husband’s help with the baby, Sundays, in particular, are a bonus chance for me to squeeze in extra me time to feel fabulous. Translation: I take a long, luxurious bath on top of my usual beauty rituals. I savor this precious hour and usually play classical music to enhance the relaxation.
I'm obsessed with my master bathroom
Sunday = mommy bath time
On the daily, however, my time isn’t always my own and multitasking is key for this busy mom. So, I love that I can whiten my teeth while feeding my daughter or prepping for a TV segment with use +Crest3DWhite Luxe Whitestrips Professional Effects.  She can’t tell me yet, but I know Ilana Rose loves mama’s pretty, smile style.
Always Be Your Best You essentials: 3D White Luxe FlexFit Whitestrips,
lip gloss, mascara, blush &, of course, some diamonds in the ears
I’ve been using Crest whiting products for over three years. They are as essential – even when I’m just working from home – as my star diamond earnings, mascara, blush and lip gloss.  There are just certain things I can’t live without.

What are your beauty must-haves? How do you embrace my Always Be Your Best You mindset? I’d love to hear your comments. Tweet me tonight during the Oscars @PamelaPekrman.
